Funkules by nature, London born and bred Abi Hercules lives up to her name. After many years as a jobbing actor and singing and playing instruments all her life, Abi wrote her first song in 2000 and Hercules was unleashed…
She’s been on an eclectic musical journey through soulful retro rock, acoustic percussive pop folk, piano driven storytelling with full band, dark electro pop, pop rock and funky electro pop. Diverse styles with a common thread - Abi’s skilful storytelling.
As a lyricist, her strength is an ability to inhabit the mind of the protagonist, to speak the unspoken, to draw in the listener…sometimes darkly humorous…
